TRI-AXLE DRIVER

Job Summary:

Operate tri-axle dump trucks to safely haul stone, dirt, sand, aggregates and other materials to and from

construction sites, quarries and customer locations. The driver is responsible for safe equipment operation,

timely deliveries, accurate paperwork and maintaining a clean, professional company image.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Safely and efficiently operate a tri-axle dump truck.
•  Haul stone, dirt, sand, aggregates and other construction materials.
•  Perform and document required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
•  Follow DOT regulations, jobsite requirements and company safety policies.
•  Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers and jobsite personnel.
•  Maintain accurate load tickets, delivery records and required driver documentation.
• Keep assigned truck clean and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:

•  Valid CDL appropriate for the equipment being operated.
•  Previous tri-axle or dump-truck experience preferred.
•  Safe driving record and strong knowledge of DOT requirements.
•  Ability to pass required drug and alcohol screening.
•  Dependable, safety-minded and able to work independently.
  

COMBO / LOW BOY / TRUSS TRUCK / FLATBED / LOG HAULING DRIVER

Job Summary:

Operate a variety of specialty trucks and trailers, including combination vehicles, low boys, truss trucks,

flatbeds and log-hauling equipment. This position is responsible for safely loading, securing and transporting

equipment, construction materials, trusses and logs to jobsites, customers and other locations while

representing R. Work professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Safely operate combination trucks, low boys, truss trucks, flatbeds and log-hauling equipment as assigned.
•  Transport heavy equipment, construction materials, trusses, logs and other loads safely and efficiently.
•  Properly load, unload, position and secure loads using appropriate chains, binders, straps and other securement equipment.
•  Verify load dimensions, weight distribution and securement before transport.
•  Perform and document required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
•  Follow all applicable DOT regulations, permitting requirements and company safety procedures.
•  Plan and follow safe routes appropriate for the vehicle and load.
•  Communicate with dispatch, customers, equipment operators and jobsite personnel.
•  Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, permits and other required documentation.
•  Report equipment defects, maintenance needs, incidents or load concerns promptly.

Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:

•  Valid CDL Class A or appropriate CDL for assigned equipment.
•  Experience with combination vehicles, low boys, truss trucks, flatbeds and/or log hauling preferred.
•  Knowledge of load securement and safe loading/unloading practices.
•  Experience transporting oversized, heavy or specialty loads is a plus.
•  Clean driving record and strong understanding of DOT regulations.
•  Ability to pass required drug and alcohol screening.
•  Strong work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to safety.
•  Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules, jobsites and load requirements.
